Would it work also if I just plug the wireless antenna into the hole or it is important to get two different metallic parts like the can AND the standing copper wire inside?
Another thought: "Step 3. Solder a piece of 15mm diameter copper wire or brass rod to the pin of the N connector." It is too thick isn't it? I can not see well in the picture but it does not seem that thick. Don't you wanna write 1.5mm (one-and-a-half mm)? It is a "normal" wire used in house electric wireing. But case of one-and-a-haf centimeter where can I get that size of brass rod?
